Start with what you actually need to know
Both packages ship with the exact same feature set: real-time location tracking, geofencing and zone alerts, trip history and mileage, driver-behaviour reporting, ignition and power alerts, and an optional remote fuel cut. Neither one holds back functionality, that covers the core question most people install a tracker to answer, where is my vehicle right now, and was it moved without my knowledge.
Where Premium actually differs
Premium isn't a bigger feature list, it's built for covering more than one vehicle: it starts from 2 devices and includes a discounted installation fee per device. It also adds one thing Basic doesn't have: Al-Abry supplies and manages the SIM data bundle on Premium devices, so a device never goes offline from running out of data. On Basic, you handle the device's own data connection yourself.
A simple way to decide
If you're tracking a single personal vehicle and don't mind topping up its data yourself, Basic gives you the complete feature set at the lowest cost. If you're covering two or more vehicles, or you'd rather not think about data balances at all, Premium's per-device discount and managed data bundle typically pay for themselves, especially for a device you're relying on to actually be reachable when it matters.
